Dear Parents and Students,

Hello and welcome back to another wonderful musical year at Anglo American School of Moscow! We are in full swing working with your children this year via General Music, Band and Strings. Please check our AAS music blog for any news regarding school performances and other pertinent information.

For private lessons as an after school activity, please visit the school website and click Penguin Life. At the drop down box click “Music at AAS” and scroll down to the private lessons information.

Thank you and have a great year!

Summer Camp

Hello band students,

This is information about a summer camp possibility for our woodwind players. That would be our flutes. saxophones, and clarinets. Nick and Julie also came to the school this year and taught private lessons to our woodwind players. This would take them to a beautiful community in England for a camp where they practice their instruments and play music with others several hours per day, fully immersing themselves into music learning and giving many advantages as a student and a player when they return.

For more information, follow the contact details on the flyer.

Thank you,

Mr. Wolf

Recorder Concert, June 6th, 2014

Dear 3rd and 4th Grade AAS Parents,

We are gearing up for this Friday’s 3rd and 4th Grade recorder concert and the students are excited about it!  They have worked very hard in preparing the music and we are very proud of them. The program will promptly start at 14:00 in the Bolshoi Theatre.  Just a friendly reminder, students are to wear their formal uniform for the event.  Hope to see you there!

Musically yours,

Mr. Sembrano and Ms. Christensen
