Fifth Grade Students have reached the final stages of the creative process. This week they have been finalising their work, and uploading it to Seesaw, to present their learning to parents. Thank you to parents who have commented with words of support and encouragement. In addition to sharing the image with you, students have been working on demonstrating their understanding of, and ability to use, art specific vocabulary to explain the details of their work. Students have been required to discuss their application of movement, contrast and space, and also been encouraged to speak or write about ways in which they extended their ideas as a result of feedback from peers and their art teacher. A gallery of their final works shall be posted sometime soon. In the meantime, please enjoy these two examples of student work and voice, which demonstrates students grasping good understanding of the concepts covered during this unit.
